Ford Super Duty

My tow rig is a 2002 Ford F350 Superduty with the V-10. I have looked online (When I bought this truck, it did not come with a owners manual) to try and figure out what kind of oil is recommended from the manufacturer, and can't find anything definitive.

I have done everything short of calling the dealership (Which I may do anyway).

Anyone have any idea what kind of oil its supposed to take? I recently took the truck to a very reputable local fluid changing shop, and they put 5W20 in it... which is what spurred this concern.

wow.. 5W20 semi-synthetic is what the dealership says.... Going with the regular blend oil gets thicker in colder temps than the semi-synthetic does... did not know that....

Nevermind, I think I just answered my own question. :-\

This is my recipe when I change my oil in my '99 F-350 w/ the 7.3 Diesel

Edit- NVM I just re-read your O.P. and realized you have the V-10...
