I've never seen one with the bumps on the back. Most of the orb spiders are just round.

I had one just like that crawlin on the mirror of my truck this afternoon....hmmm are we being over run by big nasty spiders... eck!

i cought one at my grandpas a few years ago that had an abdomin (sp) the size of a dime talk about jibblies....

I run into those cotton pickers in window wells on almost a daily basis, We run into black widows often enough that we started carrying spider spray. Been seeing lots of wolf spiders with bodies the size of slip on pencil erasers. A few Black widows that big too. WE finaly bought the spray after we tried Hornet killer, weed killer, Window cleaner, acetone, and WD40 didn't kill one widow.
