in good condition? what's your reason for selling it? Not trying to be
rude here, but there are tons of crappy items out there and don't want
to be stuck with something in bad condition. Can you provide me more
pictures of it? Finally what's your last price? Get back to me ASAP.

And then there are the strange but legit ones. I was living near Austin TX and a guy from San Diego wanted to buy a boat I was selling. Funny part was, it was legit. He flew one-way to Austin, rented a U-haul truck to tow it, and I watched the teller at a branch of his bank make out the check for 20k....

They reied with (1/3) thanks i read and understand the add i accept the price and am willing to buy, i wont be able to come down for the text ride, (2/3)inspection due to my work frame.. i am restricted by work.. but never mind as i will have my pick up agent come for the inspection (3/3)after the payment has being made into ur paypal account.. kindly get back to me with ur paypal email address so that i can put the fund.

Interesting that this comes up right when im selling my trailer. Ive had similar experiences. About an hour after posting i got pretty much the same poor grammar/spelling message as above via text message stating they wanted the trailer and were sending an agent. I kept getting those each time i relisted the trailer, then today i got a text that had similar poor spelling/grammar however they used my name in it which was different so i was 50/50 on whether replying with obscenities was necessary. I erred on the side of caution and was glad i did since it turned out to be a legit buyer

Yep, I've had many times that a legit buyer had worse spelling and grammar than some of these scammers.
