hmmm I would never use blue RTV on a pan or valve gasket. Copper has worked the best for me. Did you clean the metal of all oil residue? Alot of times a valve cover will leak in the back down to the pan and look like a pan gasket.Brett said:One piece seal from Jeep and I used just blue RVT. I Lean said:It also comes in tubes you use in a caulking gun. I think you get more for your money that way, since you aren't paying for an aerosol can. (it's like a squeeze-cheese can.)
