Finally got around to painting my FJ40.
I took an auto body class at Kearns HS, I still have one left, But I dont know if I will go, There was a lot of great info passed along in the class, Oh anfd it was $80 if you were interested.
So in total with paint, class, tools and consumables, I have a $500.00 paint job, But it also have about 30 hours of work put into it, So take that as you will.
I am happy with the turn out.

To get a quality paint job
You are looking at 4 to 5 hundred just in primer, paint, reducers and clear coat. I have seen the Maco crap if you do use them I would highly reccomend taking everything off or masking yourself.

I used a 2 stage epoxy primer, single stage paint to saved me a few $$$
Still happy, Even though I found a run on the hood AND there is a ton of dust in the air today...
