Has anyone spent any time looking at the new Gaia map layer, Gaia Overland? It is said to combine the Gaia topo map with MVUM, USFS and public lands on a single layer.
I have, its nice but I still prefer my own layer stack. But thats because I'm a luddite.Has anyone spent any time looking at the new Gaia map layer, Gaia Overland? It is said to combine the Gaia topo map with MVUM, USFS and public lands on a single layer.
I have not, and won't. I was about 3/4ths converted to Gaia and then Outside bought them. Deleted the app and I'm back to BCN.Has anyone spent any time looking at the new Gaia map layer, Gaia Overland?

Yea I don't get it. How has their service improved in any way to promote that cost jump?Gaia's happy new year email is a junk punch. $59
It hasn't. This is Outside, milking the cow. If they can't make money monetizing your data, they'll get it straight from your pocket.Yea I don't get it. How has their service improved in any way to promote that cost jump?
They do. Here's our trip this weekend on the default topo map with land status overlay.

I keep teetering. I have a lot of saved waypoints and stuff in there that I don't want to move to another app. I've not been impressed with OnX yet... ugh.I canceled my Gaia subscription. That’s just too damn much for what I get out of it.
