Getting Narrow

Maybe I'm not making myself completely clear. I want to grind down the whole caliper, not just the outside half, I have already done that.

Maybe find a junk caliper grind it down to clear and then if you are not already into to hollow part drill some holes or cut it up to see how thin you have made it

It apears that a reman is faily inexspensive, so I will do one of mine and see how it looks.

I ground about 2/3 of my caliper down. The last third would have been easy.
I suggest building a sort of paint booth to contain the metal grindings.

If you start tucking your tires in more, will they hit your frame when you turn? Thats a big part of why most of us shove the tires out.

You can buy a smaller caliper bracket & run 3/4 calipers to clear a 15" wheel on a Dana 60. Do a search on the web, there are plenty out there.
