GM TBI swap,running way way way rich..need help

Not sure if that's my problem but the injectors seem to be doing that and this is a old module that I dropped a few times lol
So I'll go buy a new one on friday..
I did heat sink the wires for it but guess I better put a heat wrap around the wires if that's going to effect it.

Should I just go with a different ing setup?

he is my go to man for sure.

yupp, cant wait till Friday so I can order some parts.

the bronco sitting its developed a few leaks

need to drop the doubler and replace a steering line and a cooler...

but if all goes well with the module maybe I can take out on its first real trail run soon!

So I have re wired this pig 3 times now and gone through 6 ignition modules..

I'm out of money and I'm on the verge of parting this pig out...

So I'm flying the white flag and will just half to save up for a affordable fuel injection kit...I can't take any more of this b.s. and don't want it to end up like my last setup.. (money pit and never worked)

No idea when it or I will ever get back on the trail....but not anytime soon........

I bet you could tow it to someone who is a pro at the GM TBI stuff and have it running for a couple hundred bucks.

Hang in there Mitch. I'm with idahoyj, it may be time to find a pro at that TBI swap and turn them loose.

all very helpful links for gm tbi. If you go aftermarket get the msd setup it works very very well.

I have been to binder planet and have done everything bill has told me to do..he just keeps saying go through the harness..it's a simple system, you just screwed something up.
I have been through the harness 6 times now and the only thing I screwed up on was wiring the relays wrong...

But sense it's the cursed bronco, it still frys ignition module's and runs like crap no matter what I do...right before the module gives out tho, it runs really really good!

But sense I have gone through 7 module's at $47 each I can't afford to mess with it anymore. ..

I would be more then happy to take it too B2bomber, but I'm broke and unemployed and fear it would wined up costing about the same or more as a kit would if it fights Him, which I know it will.

So I dunno, think it's just going to sit for quite a while....even looking at it makes me sick...

Got the module's to stop blowing up....
Aparently gm is so awesome that the module NEED'S to be mounted flat.
So got it mounted flat and it's holding up. . Still running rich and cinda funny... maybe I'll get it figured out lol
