phh why quit when it is so delicious and satisfying. i have actually quit a few times temporarily, usually as a bet...
i don't feel threatened by it mainly because i have 1 can a day is all. in highschool i had 4-6 cans a day and more on weekends. i also drink something like 120 oz of water a day at work so i feel pretty good.

I have gained 20 lbs in little over a year and the only thing that has really changed is my 16 oz Mtn dew at 8:30 everymorning. I just tipped the 200lb mark and that's pretty bad for me.

Is that a Ho Ho or a twinkie I can smell??

Soda doesn't make you retain water, I would like to see some back up on that. The high sugar in regular sodas is what would help put weight on some people. I go back to my first post, everybody needs to work out a heck of a lot more. Most people are lazy arses.

I can see myself getting borderline addicted to energry drinks though. Every once in a while I'll be super tired at work (after lunch especially) and I'll throw down a Full Throttle--which might as well be liquid cocain. I have to be careful cause I don't want to get to the point where i need an energry drink to have energy.

Water here can't stand soda.
Like said above tons of sugar, read somewhere that if you quit more than likely you can loose 10lbs.

I quit drinking soda for a while and gained 10lbs. So I said screw it and went back to drinking Pepsi.
