Good Moab Trails

I'm heading down to Moab this weekend with a friend and was wondering if you guys knew any good trails. I have a 3 link, locker, and 33's. Buddy has an open four runner. His rig doesn't have the flex of a solid axle. I was thinking if doing porcupine rim, fins and things, poison spider.

To me, Fins is pretty much the classic Moab trail, and you'll do just fine with your rig. Granted, it really is on the easier side of things, but I always have a great time on it. Dont be afraid to try the harder lines on it. Personally, the second half gets a bit on the tedious side though, so when we run it, its usually just the first half. It has some pretty decent drop downs and there's an optional waterfall that looks a lot more intimidating than it is (you can do it easy if its dry).

Poison Spider is also a pretty fun, yet on the easy side as well. I had a lot more fun doing this trail in the night though.

I guess it just depends on why you want to go down there. When I go down there, I mostly just like to relax and take it easy. Do a few simple trails, but mostly just take a nice easy going approach and treat it like I'm on vacation.

If you are new to Moab the "book" is a life saver. Some of the trails are not marked well and there are tons of little side trails that lead to nothing. I see you are located in Logan. You are welcome to borrow my book as long as I get it back in good shape.

Like has been mentioned, Fins is fun, Porcupine Rim is fun, and the "book" is the Charles Wells Guide to Moab book. A great resource!

A couple more to consider that are scenic yet not too difficult are Top of the World, the view from the top is amazing, and Dome Plateau. I agree with the others to get the Charles A. Wells book and do some scouting. Some of the ones we like are just ones we decided to hit last minute after thumbing through the book.
