I've seen a thing a the discovery channel on a group of people that actually ride their snowmobiles on lakes, evening making turns while they are out. Of course they can't stop though.

I had an old snowmobile video where someone was on open water on a lake and jumped off a waterski ramp over a boat and landed in open water and kept going...

There was also another group of guys who were racing ovals on a lake...the snowmobile was racing a waverunner and beating it until they brought out a waverunner with twice the engine size...
