Grand Stair Case questions

I am looking in June to work in a little camping trip with the family. Idea at this point is Bryce Canyon, then into Grand Stair Case NM. Would either take Monty, towing a equipment trailer, or our Ram 2500 Quad Cab.

Any route suggestions or 'don't miss it' spots in Grand Stair Case? I really have not spent time there, so don't know too much about what to hit.

Thanks in advance.

Hole in the Rock (Kane County), check out Devils Garden and Peak A Boo Slot Canyon while you are on it. I don't know if I should be more impressed at how in the world the Mormons got the wagons down there or most unimpressed at the fact their scouts really sucked to take them that route.

Lower Calf Creek Falls, about 2.5 mile hike each way

Buurr Trail (northwestern portion anyway) pretty scenic

I would suggest Chokecherry Point but you don't have a prayer of making it this time of the year.

Highway 12 is very scenic with lot's off turnouts.
The hogsback part is fun.
It runs above Calf Creek south of Boulder, Ut

If you go down the Hole in the Rock road then I recommend taking the side road out to Egypt which has a great view and 3 mile hike down to the Escalante River. Also the hike out to huge Broken Bow arch farther south. Near the trailhead for Hurricane Wash at mile marker 33.5 you can turn west on a side road and get up on Fiftymile Bench which has great views plus a steep hike all the way up to the rim near an arch called Window Wind Arch. The 15 mile hike down the Escalante River canyon from the town of Escalante to highway 12 is fantastic when the river flows go down. You splash across the small river when it is low at least 50 times. Leave a vehicle on each end. The Wolverine Petrified Wood area south of the Burr trail road is very interesting. Taking the Moody Road off of the Burr Trail Road takes you to the south to some great views and hikes. One I like is the Silver Falls hike which leads down to the Escalante River. If you take the Burr Trail Road then be sure and take the short 4w road and hike out to the Strike Valley Overlook in the Waterpocket Fold in Capitol Reef NP at the east end of the Burr Road. Awesome view. Once you get into the Grand staircase/Escalante area you will be hooked and want to go back. Not a lot of 4 wheeling to do but lots of magnificant scenery.
