No not for your teeth.

I am thinking of buying myself a grill soon, I have never owned my own so just curious what you all use? Why? how do you like it etc.
I am thinking max range of $400. So no I wont be getting a NG kitchen outside.

What about a weber charcoal grill?

I have used several different propane grills in the past but is propane better then charcoal?
What about grate types, there is what, porcelain and cheap?

I am also leaning towards a charcoal cause I like to dutch oven and I don't want to go next door and dig a firepit in my moms garden. :D

Grilled animal and dutch oven potatos sound good right now. mmmmmmm and peach cobbler mmmmmmm

Also didn't someone on here make a grill out of a front clip of a CJ or something? :)

I have a propane and I like that I can just go outside and start it even if there is snow on the ground. But to me the food taste better on charcoal. I am about to go get me one and use that sometimes. I am looking at one a little bigger then the one you posted and it has a side door so I can smoke some wood chips for the taste.

Yeah thats another reason I want a charcoal is for taste. Good point about going out and using a propane in the winter though. I think the one I posted is 22 1/2 incher? Whats some other brands to look at that are good? Another thing I was thinking is I got an old POS gas grill out back that I could clean up and get a new grate for and use it for my propane grilling?

Well it really depends on what you need. For myself I use the propane when I am in a hurry and we want to eat. If I plan it then I would use the charcoal and just sit back and drink a beer while cooking. If I plan a big party or something then I would ask someone else to bring there grill. that makes it where I do not have to go out and buy a great big grill. The 2 I have will cook enought for about 10 people. Also if you get gas get 2 takes. That way you can put the other one in when the first one runs out. It suck to run out of gas while your cooking. Trust me on that. Wife still wont let me forget about that one.
