Is it better to have both incomes file separately, or together?

I work and my wife works,

I did the taxes both ways last year just to see how it would work out and it was better for us to file jointly...

I thought I would get a better return being married, but nothing so far has compared to the money I got back when I was single. :)

Plus then I got to spend it. :D :D

You need kids! Instant $1000 credit each. I'm thinking I need to become the ulti-mormon! 10 kids ought to suffice!:D :D

I worked with a guy that had 10 kids, he claimed exempt all year and STILL got money back at the end of the year...

My wife doesn't have to work, but she does because she can't stand not to. She needs to be doing something and she enjoys her job very much.

just think of it the other way what would a kid cost you per year more then 84.00 per month it isnt a fair trade.

my uncle has 16 little balls of joy. I be the government pays him to live here.

I for one think you should only get a tax credit for 2 kids, and then each additional kid after that you pay extra for.
