Guardsman Pass 2-2-12

Decided to make it a DEDICATED snow machine, so to make it perform the best, weight is the ultimate concern. Chopped the camper off (ouch), now I will rebuild it with a soft shell to keep it super light. Needs rear locker to unleash the full potential, but even with open diff's it's pretty amazing. Thinking about a ghetto mini-spool, as drivetrain stress in snow is a non-issue.


Cruised up Guardsman in 4-6" of new snow at 12mph pretty easy (uphill at 9,500ft). Super fun rig!

Yes, and soon the cab will be enclosed (again) and the heater will take the edge off.

Samurai's come stock from the factory with that. Where have you been?

Greg is right. Utah OHV law states that any vehicle over 800lbs needs to be tracked, which it obviously is.
