A client of mine manufactures bullets. Since the shooting in Connecticut they went from a 3 to 4 day shipping to 6 to 7 weeks. The election pushed them from same day shipping to the 3 to 4 days

i was headed to Wyoming bunny hunting. I could find all the shells I needed but 22. We stopped in Evanston and one sporting goods store had a couple of boxes left

Yeah, .22 and .223/5.56 are the two that are near impossible to find right now. I have found just about everything else no problem. Although, cabellas has some varmint tipped .223 right now (as of last night) and 375 round boxes of .22.

I have a good friend that lives in Vegas. They just had a gun show there this last weekend. He sent me a picture of the line just to get in. It was 2 blocks long.

I'm glad I am set up for reloading .223. Plus working at a gun range gets me all the .223 and .45 brass I will ever need.

By brother was looking at WalMart for ammo, and they were sold out of every common caliber because all of the gun show vendors came in and bought them out... I'm sure they plan on gouging the crap out of everyone at the show for it.:-\ Pretty shady if you ask me.

My thoughts are that the gun show will be packed and will likely sell out of ammo, but bring your own lube if you plan on buying any.

I agree with you Brian. I'm not in dire need of ammo (or anything really) so it's not worth getting up at the crack of dawn only to freeze my ass off and likely get raped on ammo prices. I'll probably still go, but later Saturday or Sunday.

I was looking at one of those a couple months back, and ended up buying a Browning Buckmark instead. Fairly similar gun overall, but the Browning was more comfortable in my hand.
I love my Buckmark. I need to buy another one anytime I take other people out shooting they gravitate toward it and I end up shooting something else.
