BTW, guns aren't illegal on school campuses in UT. Exactly the opposite. Recall if you will the brouhaha over the U trying to ban them.

Also, kids carrying guns in any other school is already illegal, due to their being underage to do so.

Colleges that are state run like U of U you can carry on, but private ones like BYU you cannot even step foot out of your vehicle with it on you they say you should stow it before you exit.

Still not true. The penalty for disobeying their request is minimal, and CONCEALED MEANS CONCEALED. They'd probably get you for trespassing at the same time though LOL

Although I am not an advocate for gun control, I would like a solution to the problem of some nutjob walking into a mall, school, church etc. and shooting the place up. Especially if you have some of your family there.
