Maybe that's what super dell is talking about... But I doubt the media made those god awfull commercials!

Something happened to make him suddenly close up shop, and it wasn't media. Something legal...

I was at BYU yesterday working on a Dell (actual) laptop and there was a guy there that just bought one of super dell's awesome PC's. There was some banter back and forth about the lifetime warranty and etc and that the customer I was working on could get next day service anywhere in the world and he could only get it here in SLC. He then stated that he would never need this type of coverage. Guess he's probably glad now that he spent the extra $'s for a super dell! :rolleyes:

this has been coming on for around two years.. I heard it was something to do with taxes and that PC Laptops was just waiting for the hammer to fall and pick up the pieces..

Funny thing was not more than a few hours after the news broke, PC Laptops announced that they would start selling desktop PC's and would be hiring around 30 to 40 of the former totally awsome employees.

Dell is just lashing out, due to many bad investments (totally awesome guns and ammo, then the motor powered parachute gliders, etc.) and bad publicity, if he did not want this much attention then he should have stayed out of the advertisements, he became to some funny, to others annoying.

Signs on the door say that all repaired computer can be picked up on March 10th at the West Jordan store, photo ID required. Can't say that I will miss them.

Why would you do that? He's an idiot, his prices are high, he's an idiot, he's anoying, He drives 80 through residential streets with no regard for the law or the safety of children, did I mention he's an idiot? I hope he gets shot.

not that i care too much about totally awsome anyway; my buddy lost his manager job up here in ogden because of that....he is now with out money and bills to pay....if anyone hears of any jobs shoot me a pm he is going to need one! thanks!!

Not sure how true it is... but I heard today something to the effect of a 2.5million dollar bill he owes to the IRS for evasion???

Me thinks that you are on the right path... My wifes uncle is an investigator for the Utah State Tax Commision (specializing in business tax fraud) like I said this has been coming on for about two years now.

I have other sources as well, and one of them sources mentioned to me over drinks one night that Super Dell was going to try and pin the tax stuff on his brother, well brother got wind of it, you can put the rest together after that.

I think he is wacko. I have a friend who had an incident with him years ago where Super Dell brandished a firearm over a road rage type situation. It was Dell who was having the road rage.

I wish he'd have some road rage with me... I bet I'd have more/bigger guns than him. :D (and I guarentee I'm meaner than him;) )
