One side effect of no fireworks shows... the entire valley is lit up like a Christmas tree right now. Pretty cool view from the roof.

You probably saw some of ours Kevin. Our circle pooled money and ended up with a decent chunk of money then one guy knew a guy and got a discount. All in we blew up about two grand. And the wind was blowing towards my house so I've got a mess of cardboard to clean up on the lawn and gardens.
I've never spent much on fireworks but consider my $75 a worthy price for the fun that was had. Apparently next year will be bigger AND better.

I enjoyed the 4th of July Hanksville firework show from the summit of Mount Ellen at the north end of the Henry's. The hike was grueling but worth the views.
