I thought I would do quick poll and see what peoples thoughts are on an important safety issue. I direct this more towards those that are running the harder trails where rollover is a possibility. The reason I am doing this is that I have noticed a lot of people that do not wear their seatbelt or harnesses on the trails to include when they are doing obstacles that have a chance of rolling a vehicle. I have even seen one guy (nobody from here) go to jump out of his Samurai when it was about to roll. Luckily it did not roll because I was thinking how ugly it was going to be.
When I had my rig rebuilt by BHR safety was a concern. I had them tie the roll cage into the frame, install racing seats and 5 point harnesses. I hate wearing the harness and tend to only wear the lap belt while on the trail. I will put on all 5 when doing a difficult obstacle. I rarely see anyone else put a harness on even if they have one. I would hate to see someone seriously injured while on the trail because of not putting on a seat belt or harness.
