Haven't been to Sranton yet? wtf?

I'm a little baffled at why I had never been up to see Scranton..... I finally got around to rectifying that last monday.

Talon (new guy on here) and I went to Scranton and then over Blackrock and out Broad Canyon.

The rock in these shafts is VERY unstable, not safe.

We didn't get to all the stuff up there, but here are some pics of what we did check out

It's a cool area to explore. There are a lot of mines and prospects on the USGS maps above the main mine at the bottom of the canyon. In a meeting with the DOGM 3 years ago, I asked about plans for reclaiming Scranton, they didn't even know about it. Hopefully it's safe, but it's definitely unstable. The headframe fell over a couple years ago.

When you get back out that way Meat or anybody who hasn't been out that way there is more stuff on the south side of the canyon to see just before you get to the town.

Is there a way to get a trailer back there? If so then it be a good idea to get what is left of that Samurai loaded on a trailer and hauled out of there.
