While this is not an HDR shot, I thought it was pretty cool. While taking some pictures of the sunrise this morning up on the Tavaputs Plateau looking down towards Desolation Canyon, I found out my new phone (Motorola Droid X) has a feature that will stitch a series of shots together automatically. This picture is a 180 degree rotation.

Not to bad for a phone.

Muleskinner - very nice eye. Your composition is strong. Then I note you're a photographer by profession. A good eye would help you in your job.

Amy - I like the bike. The processing is especially nice and really makes the image sing.

I'm delighted to see the photography thread. I actually got my jeep to get me out on location for shooting photos. Now I have to learn to drive it beyond straight dirt roads. I'm looking forward to it.

I love getting them right.. well seeing improvement. I just purchased Photomatix, and Topaz Adjust, cant wait to use that on the next set.

So far ive only used photoshop to merge.

Caleb doesn't think they are HDR lol

I did this one a while back of my Son and his first moment with his new little sister. I used topaz adjust and did some modifications on one of the presets.
