Hi folks. I'm going to be travelling thru Nevada and Utah between Christmas and New Years and signed up to get a little insight into the local wheelin scene there. And maybe collect some parts on the way thru. I'm from courtenay B.C. On the east coast Vancouver island. I have three full width yjs. I just put a dana 44 and 60 in my daily driver a 93 4.0/ax 15/ np 208. Was previously 30 front and Chrysler 8 3/4 rear sprung over. #2 is a 88 yj 318/727/231/d300/60front and 60 rear stretched to 113" wheelbase, tub chopped behind the front seats and the rear panel with tailgate moved forward and welded back on. #3 89 yj 383 magnum/727/d300/60 front/70 rear. This is my future daily driver. I also have a 1967 coronet 500. We renting a car in Vegas and have pretty open schedule until the new year would like to see Zion, Bryce and canyon lands on our trip but really have no idea what all is out there. So any suggestions on the best scenic stuff to see and do on our trip are welcome. It's a cant really afford family vacation so unfortunately we have just reserved a econo rental car but are hoping to upgrade to something that will let us got off the pavement a bit. If the opportunity comes up I would love to go on trail ride but assuming the jeep rental/tour situation would be similar to Sedona last year witch in my opinion was way to much money for what looked like pretty easy trails to me. Also would like some suggestions on some good 4x parts stores to browse and am hoping to come across a really good deal on a locker for a rear 60, such as a used 30 spline 4.10 down Detroit or maybe a new spartan if the price is good. (Its not just that I'm cheep. I'm poor)
