ol' dodge 4x4

Hello, like it says above, i live in Nebraska. I know its a long ways from Utah but I think this forum could be a good place to learn new things for my 4x4 project. I plan on driving it out to Colorado or Utah some day to go on some of the more moderate trails. Not ready for the extreme rock crawling yet. Although, I think that is extremely entertaining, I am not ready for that kind of 4 wheeling yet. Baby steps first. Even though I have owned the old Dodge for over 4 years now, I have not considered putting much time into it. Now I have gotten the 4 wheeling "BUG" so I thought why not just fix up the old Dodge. It will take some work but I think I can handle it. I know a lot about cars but am short on knowledge when it comes to 4x4's. All I know is that the old truck has a 435 trans and a Dana 44 front axle and a 9 1/4 rear along with the 318 that I rebuilt {which replaced the slant six}. Thanks for reading. Enjoy!
