I have been to their auction, and carmax sells a lot of junk trade in vehicles. You can't even drive them before you bid, just sit in them and try stuff. They do have a major drivetrain warranty for like 10 minutes after you buy them.

I went back in to Karl Malone Toyota to check out their used inventory to try to strike a deal on a good used one. I got talking to a sales rep, and one thing led to another. I didn't want to get a loan, but after talking to the sales guy for a while, I folded and ended up taking home my dream tacoma. I stole these pics from the ad because it was too dark when I got home to take any pictures of it.

It was a bit more than I wanted to spend, but it comes with the "we bad" package. It's got chrome rock sliders, 35s, a 6" lift, chrome wheels, rawlings leather, rear elocker, and best of all, only 18 miles on it. Yeah, I've got a payment, but so does everyone else on the planet. I figure I won't have to pay for maintenance or a build, so it'll be cheaper in the long run. I'll get some better pics of it in the morning.

That's awesome Steve, Congrats! Sharp looking truck you ended up with. Glad to see Karl Malone treated you right  How many years of free maintenance did you end up with?

Hey now, not everyone has a car payment, but many people do. Glad you found what makes you happy, and we all know the most expo rigs on the planet are white!

We always had a Rawlings Silverado on the floor with everything else GM ever made for the truck.
Be mindful that the leather is very soft unlike the other Katzkin kits.

I'm calling BS, I don't think you bought a truck with a drop bracket lift and chrome wheels and nerf bars.....

Not just that, but he financed it.

Not calling Steve a liar or anything :), but this does seem a little out of character and I won't be super surprised if he's jerking our chains...
