Help with XJ Rear Springs

Hey guys my 4.5 leafs in the back are shot and I got blocks under them with teraflex shackles. I'm thinking of going with just a 7 inch spring in the back but don't know the pros or cons to that. and the $$ for it might be better used converting to coils in the back.. :-\ Input on brands and ride and flex would be great!

I'd go RE all the way. I think they make a 4.5 and 5.5".

IMHO, I think blocks cause a LOT of issues with leaf springs. Get a decent spring and a traction bar and I think you'll be better off.

i ran rubicon express 5.5" rear leafs with a 1.75" shackle to get about 7" of lift. it performed very well. in my opinion.

Thats the same springs and shackle im running its great!
Thats your best bet if you want 7+ lift.

is the teraflex shackle 1.75?

The Teraflex plus shackle is 1.5" I think but I could be wrong.
