Henry Day doesn't have a lot on 90th South in Sandy. Do you mean Butterfield? You might double check that. Butterfield went under and is now completely owned by Larry H. Miller. And as bad as it sucks, you probably have no recourse.

since when has Butterfield changed to Larry H? Thats news to me...in fact I am 99% sure they still have the Butterfield signs up...I am gonna have to get in touch with my buddy (his dad is one of the owners of Butterfield) and find out whats up...

It still says Butterfield. Larry H. has been lending that place money to keep it afloat for the last few years, and finally just took over a couple months ago. I've been expecting a LHM sign on it for the last year or so. Then again there are the haters that won't buy a car from larry, so why not leave the name? I don't know what they'll do.

Just curious, but what are your sources for this? If they were hurting for money I dont think they would have just recently built a brand new service center and totally redesigned the dealership?

The LHM Dealerships are huge accounts for my company. The new GM at Butterfield is Brad Mckeever, who was formerly at truckland, and before that at LHM Honda. A former sales manager of Butterfield is Kevin Beaslin who is now at Gregory Pontiac in AF. He left there roughly 2 years ago when Larry was starting to pump money into the dealership. He is the one who first gave me the insight. If you need any more, call your buddies dad.

Oops, I meant in SANDY... but it is Henry Day, managed by his son Jeremy Day...

Kurt, it sucks that your gf got taken for a ride.

I think that the real question should be "What do YOU want the dealership to do?" not "what should the dealer do?"

I think that the chances of you getting ANY money back is going to be slim to none. They are going to have all sorts of paper work with her signature on it, one of which is probably a disclosure of liability, and probably also a signature on something that has the VIN explosion and the Sport label on it, now I realize that nobody reads through everything that you sign when you buy a car from a dealer, but none-the-less they still have the signature, which leaves you high and dry.
