Anyone found a cheeper place to buy this stuff? I have been paying about $100.00 for a gal.

Thanks,

That seems to be about the going rate. Have you used it before? I'm NOT impressed by the durability.

I bought some bed liner from Pearsons? off 3300 S and Main. It is a little auto body shop. They have pretty good prices, and you don't just have to use black. I bought Gray, and I spent around $60 for enough to do the inside of my Cruiser. I used a gun to spray it, but you could roll it like Herculiner. The prices may be a little higher now since I did it probably 5 years ago, but it may be worth checking out.

Maybe six months ago Checker had it for ~$60 plus a $10 mail-in rebate to Herculiner. I should've bought some then. :-\ I don't know if this deal is still going on, but Checker had a good deal on it even without the rebate.

Checker had Herculiner for $80 last week on sale. Sam's club has had Herculiner in the past 1 gallon plus an extra quart for $80 or $90 if I remember correctly. I used the $45/gallon Duplicolor on a project for the kids to see how it works. :ugh:

prep really IS key... I did the back of a van with it to waterproof it, held up great except where I didn't properly prep it.

also helps to mix the sh*t out of it, and often.

The stuff I lined my tub with was from wally world. Don't recall who makes it, but I spent a lot of time on the prep work, and it has held up very well. I did apply two coats, but it is not really that thick. Still, it has held up very well for $40/gal. In fact, I still had some left after two coats of my tub.
