my girl is a dispatcher for the pd and she always tells me that a citation is not always given at accidents...and its not the police departments job to determine fault... its the insurance companies.... but as far as layton city goes... they are hurting really bad for money and cite everyone for everything... and most all the fines are $587...

So take it up with the insurance company.

If they cite "everyone for everything" then why wasn't a citation issued in this case?

So the LEO just called me and informed me why he didn't site anyone in the wreak. I noticed this before but I didn't think twice of it but the driver had a UK Driver License number. And the LEO said that he couldn't cite the driver because of that.

I asked him what he would of done if it was a more serious situation and he said that the city attorney would have to deal with the foreign driver.

I guess you learn something new every day...I just hope the insurance companies have the same belief.
