Assuming you're talking about a 2002-2007 KJ Liberty:

2.5" is about all I would reccomend for the KJ, anything else and you should be looking at solid-front-axle swaps

I second the 2.5" recommendation to many CV Shaft issues and upper Ball Joint problems when you go higher
