I am not new to RME, but I have been off for long enough that I was unable to recover my old account.

I used to own a Green 95 YJ that I built into a very capable DD/trail rig. Sold it several years ago. I just bought a good 96 XJ that is pretty much stock, and will be toying with it for the next couple of years. The goal is to build another very capable DD that will also take me into the hills for some weekend fun. In two years, my daughter should be graduating from high school and on her way to (her choice) medical school. I plan on giving her the XJ as a graduation present.

We will be building this rig up together, along with my 12 year old son. Hoping that it will become a family project that will give them both a chance to learn a little.

I plan on asking lots of questions and reading a lot of the old posts. I was intimately familiar with my YJ, but will admit that I don't have much experience with the XJ. I want to build this the right way using the right components for my intended use.

Anyway, my name is Victor. Lived in Logan pretty much all of my life. It's a great place to wheel!
