Hello everyone,

I am Harry, writing from Greece. I drive a Ford Maverick as our family vehicle (Escape in the US) and a Suzuki Samurai '91 as my fun car

My Sami has lots of extras to cope with the muddy and rocky mountains of Greece.

I joined this place for two reasons :
- Find out how you are having fun overseas
- Find new component suppliers as everyting is expensive in Greece.

Thank you for welcoming me. All of you are also welcome to Greece (with or withour your vehicles)

Mountains here are kind of different than yours. They combine lots of offroad chalenges :
- medium altitude (we can easily play between 1000 and 2000 metres of altitude - that's about 6000 feet, and we can reach 2500 or 2600 driving - about 7800 feet)
- mud baths
- rocky parts
- rivers (small and big)
- nice scenery (Greece is mountains and sea)
- nice places to stay or camp

I would like to send even more pictures but I don't have them on the net....

@Stephen : Do you really want a Jimny ? It's really easy to arrange it, but why? A Samurai is far better regarding it's capabilities. Buying a 2006 Jimny will cost you the same with a fully equipped Sami.... If Jimny is your decision, have a look through Germany. They have some websites selling used cars at good prices.

Wow I am not quite familiar with the tires some of those rigs have bu they look MEAN!!!! what are they? they available in the U.S? sweet rigs and the scenery there is just beautiful!! Welcome to RME

If I could get a Jimny for a reasonable price, I'd get it. Not because it is better than a Samurai, but because it is something different. It would be kinda fun to have. Do you have links to said sites? It doesn't matter if they are in German.
