What's up! Somewhat new to the offroad scene- I got my 03 Tacoma SR5 4x4 in December, and have been rallying as much as possible. I frequent TacomaWorld, and am pretty new to ttora- but hell, I'm down to get out and drive with anybody :greg: I'll upload some pics when I get a chance. I'm always looking to meet up with locals and hit a trail, or do some fishin or campin.

So far done to my Tacoma: Volant CAI, 3"catback exhaust, headers, toolbox, 2jerry can mounts, hi lift mount, bedlined rocker panels, sliders, plasti dipped wheels-bumpers-emblems, and alarm system. Next up is lift and tires at the same time- still have about 3k miles until these tires are bald- so that's my time frame.

:D I need a Kayak buddy, so I can pick you and your Kayak up. Maybe we can get Trobowcop to get a Kayak too and join us.

Quite the welcome party! Thanks all. Here's a recent pic- but before I changed the wheels to black.

I'm all over getting a kayak Sixstringsteve! I can even rent them through the U's Outdoor Rec program. So far I've just rented one for a weekend here and there.

Any local meets coming up??

Yeah we stayed up above that sign down there- always trying to wheel responsibly to keep trails open and places to rally :D That's the hardest trail I've taken my truck on yet- can't wait for my lift!

Thanks for the links! Depending on our rafting trip up in Idaho on the Salmon, I might be able to make one of those trips. It'll be a 5 day rafting trip with travel days, as of now its set for the 6th-12th but dates can easily change as I'm not leading the trip. I'll keep updated on the dates as well as possible.

glad to see nobody drove into Forest lake that day, as you probably know, that's a big no-no and leads to trail closures and less places to wheel :(

Here are a couple upcoming meets that I'm putting on. You're welcome to join:

Also a bit nervous as I'm new to this whole scene, and those links look gnarly..haha. No lift, not a whole lot of dough to fix broken components either!

I've done both in a stock double-cab, but I would definitely recommend sliders. IF you have rock sliders, you'll be fine on both. We'll guide you and teach you the ropes.
