Jamesgeologist and myself picked up some angry quads recently and took the MLK weekend as an excuse to hit moab and run these suckers. They have low range, spooled rear IRS and selectable locking front LSD IFS and over 50 HP in stock form (James high performance chip beat mine in the mail so he is well past stock now)

We did hell's revenge on Sat, watched another buddy eat a whoop and go to the hospital on sunday, and then Jamesgeologist and I hit Kane Creek for a high speed early morning Monday run. Here are the pix from Monday...

We just got to the top of the first climb at Gemini Bridges and were on the flat dirt road that leads into the canyon and he went through a wash in the road, which he didn't see, his Foreman 450 bucked and kicked left and he went straight and up. The bike never flipped or rolled, it just kicked left as it went through the wash. My wife was on my machine and Spence was on his, both BF 750's. I am sure my wife would have done the same thing had she been in front, but Spence likely would have seen it or been able to ride through it. It pays to wear a helmet, which he wasn't, :ugh: but the broken ribs could not have been prevented.

All we did on kane creek was high speed whoops like that...in indirect light, covered in snow...man that was tough to see those things but was it ever a fun day.

Ken has a hard head so he will be ok, now he gets to suffer the screwed ribs like me...maybe someday mine will heal up...ouch...

Looks like fun, but super cold! I have been down there in snow the last few times, not so much a fan of that.
