Hey I ordered the trail gear and it's on its way. I ordered the frame support plate from Trail gear as well. I'm going to pick up an ifs box tuesday or wednesday. When I mount the box do I mount it pretty much in the same place as the old one?, and also are the support plates a bolt on type thing or are they weld on, and if they are weld on, is there anything important I need to keep in mind for weling on the frame?

I have allpro on my toyota, and it seems pretty stout even with the hydro assist hooked to it, and Im sure trail-gear and Marlin are the same most of the rest of there products seem similair across the board. Or you can use what I have on my Jeep.. 1.5 x .250 wall tubing I have the whole wieght of the front of my jeep on the tie rod without even bowing it, the only problem with that is your better off bending a tie rod than breaking off steering arm bolts or worse ball joints like I did in Cedar City.

Depending on what their frame plate looks like, that might kinda place the box for you. Just keep in mind that it needs to be as far forward as you can get it, so you can move the front axle forward without the tie rod getting too friendly with the pitman arm. The frame plate will weld on.

The Pull 'n Save here in Magna is half price every Wednesday. :D
