Now that my blazer is almost done, I've been thinking about my off road trailer and tow methods reguarding Articulating hitches, pintles, etc. I've spent a lot of time researching what would be best for the off road and on road. There's a lot of ideas out there! What I've read from others is that a ball tow method is best for on road and a rotating Pintle is best for off road. So I was wanting to know all of RMEs ideas on this topic?

Here's a few pictures of what I've googled so far.

I like this style because you have a full range of motion, and they are silent.... Pintle is very effective, but annoyingly loud on the trail.

There are several manufacturers that make this style of hitch, and I know they are commonly home made as well.
