Ah, yes, but sometimes it's kinda fun front-wheelin' just for the hell of it. The only reason I say that is because my rear shaft is toast and had to front wheel it home for a few miles. Front wheel burn-outs are kinda cool.....

I have a couple questions about the Commando.

Why did you cut out the middle of the doors; looks, weight, what?

Also did you cut out the rear fenders along the wheel wells? Where did you trim the fronts? Can I get some close up pics of your fenders?

cut the doors for visiblity 1st, weight 2nd, to be different 3rd and cause I had two sets 4th :D

the rear wheel opening are the same as a tj, so that I could run tj extended flares.

The front fenders are cut along the body line to give more tire clearence so they didn't cut the tire.

James, what linner did you end up useing? Did you use the same jeepster sending unit or are you running a aftermarket gauge and sending unit?

I need a new tank and I like what you did.
