I have a very cool PDF that I'd like to post on here, but I don't know a way to upload it onto the net. Any suggestions?

Thanks

man that blows, and you just finished the paint not to long ago.
so what was the final damage assesment?
I noticed the spring popped out, and when the jeep came to rest the front axle definetly does not look like it is sitting right on the drivers side.

If the spring had stayed in, I probably would have been ok. This was my 5th time on my side, so I was probably more calm than a lot of people would have been. The only real damage to the CJ was about a basketball sized dent in the side of my hood. My new roll cage held up extremely well (anybody that says you shouldn't use pipe for a roll cage can kiss a**!!!). Since my windshield is Lexan it didn't break either. So all things considered it wasn't too bad.

If I had hit the gas or atleast let off on the brakes, I might have pulled out of it, but if the coil had already come out I would have done MAJOR damage to my front suspension. With nothing to absorb the impact it would have blown up my shock and probably bent the crap out of my control arms, likely on both sides. It's easy to play "what if,", but everything considered, I think I came out pretty well; no damage to me or my passenger, minimal damage to the CJ, and I was still able to drive home, and lead Steel Bender the next day!!

Woah, suspense over. Nice landing. Were you leading that trail, Dave?
Tail Gunner. We already had 1 roll on High Dive and another roll on Upchuck. After me every decided that they didn't want to try going back UP, go figure :p !!

well sounds like the damage was minimal with all things considered, watching the pdf though it looked as if the left front tire was wedged in between a rock and the wall you was descending, and at the angle you was im not sure that gas or brake would have helped your cause.

Glad to hear that there was nothing serious in the suspension and axle area in terms of damage.

Happy Trails

gas would have drove the front end out keeping him from rolling over, but likely landing really hard in the rear...but like he said, can't live in the would have could have state of mind :p

The link doesn't seem to work on other boards, is it RME friendly only, or is there a way to make it work out there in the rest of the world?
