I see Coreshot is tangled up with one too. :D

So far there's:
1. The Tara I'm married to
2. Fabulous Tara
3. Coreshot's Woman (PLEASE feel free to change that, I mean no disrespect.:D)

Are there more?

Funny thing is that I never really liked the name. In grade school there was a rather large girl named Tara that was always dirty. The kind of dirty you just don't wash off...weird. She was a bully too. Never bullied me, but she made other kids miserable. I just always associated the name with her. Now I'm married to one.

How do you all pronounce it though? With my wife, it's about half and half. Her mom says Tear-a (liked tearing paper), and her dad says Tar-a (like the gooey substance in asphalt. I prefer the former, as the latter sounds too harsh.

Tear-a. Most people ask me which way it is when they meet me, but it's always been that one. I'm glad you came around to thinking Tara's are okay there Coreshot. We're not all evil, mustached, bullies!

Puhleeease tell me she pronounces it Tar-a like the gooey substance in asphalt, even though that pronunciation annoys me.

My wife pronounces it Tear-a.. I only knew one Tar-a growing up, and she looked like an ape, so it has real negative connotations to me. My wife is named after the plantation in Gone With The Wind. :D

Why does it matter how Shawn pronounces my name? Nine times out of ten he calls me "woman" or "babe". In fact, he so rarely calls me by name, I wasn't even aware of his pronounciation. I can honestly say that I wouldn't pay attention to what he called me as long as it wasn't "hey b!tch!"
