Out and about with my new rig and my rear view camera goes out.
Today I crawled under there to troubleshoot and I found the camera power wire had been caught under the body mount on the P-side
and the trailer turn signal wires had been caught on the D-side.
I had done some work on this wiring after purchase and I swear the wires were not trapped under the body mount. I did get some real wheeling and some serious flexing the other day - is it possible that I flexed so much to allow the wires to get trapped in there? I tried to pull them out - there’s just no way until the body mount is loosened or removed. So, I cut the wires on each side of the mount, spliced them back together And re-routed to make sure (I hope!) that doesn’t happen again!
What say you? Possible to flex that much?
