2" .25 wall? Maybe I'm just not as hard on my as you guys with trailered buggies.... I guess something about having to drive it 800 miles home afterwards... :ugh:

My 2" x .25" wall lower links have a very slight bend in them... very slight, but I can tell. I've just noticed this past year. Not too bad since I've been wheeling it hard for almost 5 years. :)

I have enough material left over to make new ones if needed. I knew they wouldn't last forever.

just wondering if you had investigated prices.

Maybe there's a way we can buy at the same time to save a little coin...???

Not sure if that's enough material to save any money...

We get all ours through marmon keystone, my buddy and I. I will probably be ordering my last shipment hopefully this next week, so let me know what you need and I can get some prices. I will easily meet thier minimum order so size doesn't matter

42" tires will get you over 3 foot rocks, it's the drop off the other side that bends your links. The lower the links are (on the Chassis) the less likely your buggy is to try and climb over the top of your front axle when you are up against a ledge, but the more vulnerable you will be to hitting your links on the rocks.
I think it is wise to use steel for links, Aluminum is expecive to buy and REALLY expencive to replace. Buy extra material to replace those links when they get bent. Maybge I should get some 2" to slide over my links to make them stronger.... mine are all 1.5".

Why are Hyme Joints so dang Noisy anyways?? They dont have any slop in them!
