I'm wanting to know if anyone has attempted to put some take-offs from a newer JK (preferably a Rubicon for the fact that they came stock with Dana 44's and factory lockers) and pit them under a TJ. I'm needing to know how much needed to be altered to make them work. Thanks

But stuck more often.
Not much help as I haven't done it, but I've seen it done and it look pretty simple. Just need new wheels and then a few wires for the locker and indicator switch. You will also need new yokes to work with your driveshafts.

I believe you have to move the lower control arm mounts in some. If I remember right.

I think the all the control arm mounts are the same on the front. You would have to move spring perches and figure out sway bar mounts. I would try and use the JK shock mounts over doing a TJ style because it eliminates the bar pin. The rear will be a totally different animal and it would be a great opportunity to upgrade to a triangulated setup...I'm pretty sure every bracket on the rear has to change.

Hey, look... I can add meaningful advice.

I put JK D44s under my old ZJ, ( found here: http://www.rme4x4.com/showthread.php?55698-ZJ-JK-Rubicon-44-build )and it was actually pretty easy... leep in mind I used a Clayton's Long Arm suspension, so if you are doing somethign else, your results will vary.

All the control arm brackets worked for me, even with radius arms, and the axle side shock mounts were fine... just outbouarded a little on the axle side. No issues as long as I had it. I used the stock axle side track bar bracket as well, and used an altered bushing and sleeve with my Rubicon express track bar. I moved the spring perches in about an inch per side if I remember, and used the stock JK spring pads, you'll have to notch the passenger side pad for clearance tot he track bar bracket.
Using the JK perches will push your axle forward a bit, to make sure you have the adjustment in your control arms... you know how ZJ/XJ/TX pring pads sit off the front side of the axle? KJ are dead center.

Rear for me was a little more work. I cut off everything factory, and made my own lower CA mounts with integrated shock mounts. I used claytons truss for uppers, no track bar with the triangulate uppers, and I used the stock Dana 30 from spring perches for the rear... you can't do that with a TJ, but if you aren't selling you stock rear axle, just cut them off and put them on the new axle.

Quite a bit of work, good results, your wheels won't fit.

Did I miss anything?
