I have a 83toy that im putting a GM 12 bolt axle in the rear and a dana 44 in the front what gear ratio should i go so my 4cyl 22r can turn 35s?

4.56 or maybe even 5.13...are you looking for wheeling potential or just streetability...if you are doing trail only do as low as you can...5.38 or maybe lower!!

5.38 and you'll be happy.

I've got 5.86 but its on 40's and its still slow to move out of its own way

Where's the upgrade?

The toy stuff you probably already have is just as strong. PArts are just as cheap.

Stuff some long's up front, and kiss the D44 goodbye...
