Put me on the list for Fords!

Mr. Monkey, no probs not running the snap ring. I never have run them on 60's or 44's. Only place you have to use them is with the old style spicer hubs.

Hubs. I like to be able to unlock them. If it was a comp only, I might think about slugs. Thats the biggest reason I don't want to cut down chev, they end up short on spline for hubs.

Well... to add to the topic.

I run hubs, but I carry spare slugs with me. It's a quick and easy swap to do if a hub ever fails.

I have a question about the snap rings. It seems like they help pull the stub shaft out towards the lockout. Won't this help hold the seal on the stub that keeps junk out of the spindle tighter against the flange of the spindle?

Does six states have a 35 spline slug that will fit in my ford hubs? Might be a cheap way to get me going, but my front drive shaft is not balanced enough to let me drive fast, so hubs are really what I ultimately want, I think.

yeah they do...when I got my 30 spline slugs they first gave me the 35 spline slugs, then they gave me D44 slugs, then I finally got some 30 spline D60 slugs...I think they are for the 9" FF kit...I do believe the D60 hubs are all the same size and spline count just matters if you want 30 or 35 spline...
