Great family antelope hunt in Wyoming. Me, son (14 at the time), dad and brother 4 for 4 on doe. Best part of my son taking his first big game was comment later in the day "this is great, we should do this every year"

Fishing highlights was a couple of October Flaming Gorge outings. Always fun to see kids catching the fish, esp. daughter (17) who up until couple years ago didn't really like fishing talk about wanting to try to schedule deep sea fishing when she goes to Hawaii next month.

Also had a friend who had never caught a fish over 3 pounds land a 26 pounder and my dad land his best catch to date at 30 pounds. Even my wife got into the act.

Deer hunt was a flop.

My son 13 shot his first deer this year, Awesome experience for both of us!

We have had many, many awesome fishing trips this year here in Idaho. With the Henry's and North Forks 40 minutes away it's tough to do anything else!

Maybe that is why my wheeling has suffered.

As I type I am debating on another trip to KOH or a week fishing instead.

I have done about 5 times as much fishing than wheeling this year, then I also got back in to hunting, so 2013 will be an even more eventful year. Tax return will be partly spent on a nice rifle with stainless barrel, accu-trigger, accu-stock, and a few other goodies.

Fishing this year was decent considering the drought conditions, my goal for 2013 is to catch a 4+ pound brown and also get down to the Boulder Mtn area for some of their large Tiger and Brook Trout as seen here http://www.bouldermountainguide.com/tigertrout
