Recently took a few trips to the Hurricane Sand Dunes. The sand is dry and soft. The rocks of course are all still there the ones not covered with sand. The area has tons of trails, most of wich are very scenic because you are on a mesa. Anywho lots of fun

Actually that is called the Sand Hollow OHV area. I know, it's still the Hurricane Dunes to me too but, OHV Area sounds more impressive. Hehehe.

Yes it is an open area. We've been wheelin there for 30+ years and it's great for motorcycles too.

Samuraiman - I'm up here in Veyo. We should hook up. PM if interested.

I want to go. I get down that way pretty often. I have friends in Springdale and a free place to stay, but the EB usually stays home. Guess I'll have to bring it next time!!
