As for the Rockwells...ya I didnt have much work and I wouldnt have bought them if my axles didnt sell. At any given point if I needed the money I could have sold them for more than I paid for them in a day. And I did use money from selling tires to pay a house payment.

Smartest thing you could do would be to clean it up a little and post it for sale for more money than you paid then use your profits to buy gears.

If you want a Bronco to drive around town.....yours isnt far off from being street legal and a lot cooler than one on 33s. And no....I wouldnt be pissed if you bought gears. Its something you need to get your Bronco on the trail which I cant wait to see happen again. (Isnt that the last thing you need????) Another pile of garbage gets you farther and farther from being on the trail. With all the work you have been doing on it....I was hoping it would make the October moab trip this year. Not going to happen now

i might just turn it around and sell it. put what spare parts i have in it maybe get it fired up and sell it for 1500 or so.
true the bronco would be cooler on the street..and yes im needing gears. but need to rebuild the front and rear axle and a new rear drive line and all new ujoints and new ball joints. i can take it on a trail now, just will half to use my skinny padal and brake more.
told mom about it and she was happy and didnt even bring it up.

look at the deal corey got with the 3 bronco's for 3 grand. sold one for 1500 was it? and it was a weck. junked one that had lots of good parts that went with it :mad: and kept the 71 this one's body is in much better shape then his white one and is mostly complete.

he told me when i asked him about the dodge, 1 driver 1 junker. is the bronco licened?? i replyed no but you had no porblem with the f150 and the nissan and the bronco. he siad ture ill think about it.

some pic's and info of the bronco i got. and my dad OK edit coming heir on a few terms.

NEW.grill,core support,inner fender wells,windshield frame,and some other new panels.

351w. with a c4 and dana 20
dana44 with dick brakes
3.5'' lift kit
the parts its missing is in the other bronco
dash,new dick brakes,new brake lines,and duel flows. posting pic's now.

i tried to get the other one started when i was there loading up my bronco...motor is locked up.:-\
as for the parts...well when my car was back there i started to load it up..not much..steering box,the lift kits bump stops,chrome c4 pan from ford motor sports,James duff brake lines,rjs safety harness's, door straps and the glove box door all new never used, besides the steering box and glove box door.

well i called her about the dash cus i need that for the title,well she said u don't need it cus the vin is on the door jam and she came out to show me...well she showed me and i could hardly even see the numbers on this small sticker so we get to talking i tell her about the other bronco and what not and ask her if i can buy some of the stuff in the back...she told me take what you want! :eek: she only asked that i try and leave the parts to that bronco in it..witch i did..back seat and spare tire and a bucket of junk...tryed to swipe the windshield frame nobs...but they wouldn't budge and i had no tools, oh well.

sense day one she thought its my first 4x4 she didn't ask if i had another one...:guilty: told her i cant wait to go wheeling with my bro and friends..witch is true. and told her it will be hard to find parts for this and i want to get it going some what quick..also true. :guilty:

when i get it home ill go through all the stuff and see what all i got. and will be posting some of the stuff like v8 swap mounts and maybe some James Duff stuff for sale.
