Bill.... how many times do I have to spell it out? I'm getting tired of the bullsh!t accusations when you only know one side of the story. Till you clue in, STFU! :mad2:

Brandon had been warned in the past multiple times, he was temp. banned once before for a rules violation involving offering services/parts in the For Sale forum. On numerous occasions he has, against the Rules, listed offers for the following:

  • Dana 44's for TJ's in For Sale.
  • Atlas T-Cases in Chit Chat & Gen Disc, twice!
  • New Winch Rope for sale in the Classifieds.
  • Offering custom shafts in Gen Disc.
  • Offering new Tires in the Classifieds.
  • Offering TJ 'Glass parts in the Classifieds, etc, etc, etc...

I have a copy of each post if you think I'm making any of this up. At first, he was PM'd each time about a violation of the Rules. He was warned so often in the past that the mods quit sending him PM's about pimping his stuff. We would just move the things that were in violation of the rules on RME.

As for it being personal, I think the above info proves that I had been more than fair in working with Brandon. I was extremely lienient and made a sincere effort to work with him on RME. If you don't believe that, then thats fine with me. I honestly know that I made the effort and I am content with that fact.

My reason for banning him? In the end it was the personal attacks towards myself. He said more than a few things that were totally & completley out of line and surely against what is allowed on RME. Being the owner, I felt I had no reason to try work things out at that point. I saw no reason for him to stay on here, if that was his attitude towards me. If you would call that a personal reason, then feel free to do so. Once again, I feel I was just & fair in my decision to ban him.



Now as for you, you have been warned about starting crap with FTM & pimping your Chassis in the wrong places. I have been fair with you and I typically give everyone a couple chances to figure out how things work on here, especially regarding the operation of a business.

There have been some changes on RME in order to make it a more fair place for those businesses looking to benefit from the community we have here. Basically, nobody can promote a business, product or an business sponsered event with out paying the minimal fee for doing so. At this point, no businesses except paying vendors may have a link in their signature to their shop... including you. Remove it within 24 hrs, please.

As has been said previously, if RME is a place you don't want to support & seek business from, please don't visit! Simple, isn't it? Now, if you do want to support & gain business on here, I expect you to learn the rules and follow them. I will make an effort to assist as I can, but if you are promoting your products out of line, your membership on here will have been placed in jeopardy... all on your own. Don't blame me, don't blame competing businesses, don't blame the mods, don't blame anyone... but yourself.

One more thing Bill... If you continue to post prices, technical info, and offers about your Chassis, you will be in violation of the Rules, which you now have full knowledge of. Don't do it... action will be taken.

Question on vendors

Is there a special place for businesses other than rock crawling on this site. If not there should be. I would be willing to pay for advertising as I'm sure many other busines people on the board would be as well.

Actually, the idea was recently presented & we're working on something for the non-4x4 business crowd. :cool:

Hopefully you'll see something within 2-3 weeks.
