I really hate that I can only get 75.00 of fuel at so many places. I have to take the pump out hang it up and then re-slide my card to get the last few gallons in. It bugs me so freaking much. I want to spray diesel everywhere and then take up smoking and then invent a time machine to come back to this hated moment so I can throw my cigarette and match down in the fuel and light the place up. I also like to use long run-on sentences.

It can't be like it isn't common for people to get more than 75 bucks with the price of gas being what it is.

What make it even better is that I can not swipe my card twice at the same station on the same visit. I don't know what the time block is but I can only do $75 at one shot.

Also I don't have this problem since I have a Toyota. The pumps stops at $45. I must be superior.

stop waiting until the low fuel light comes on.. fill up when you hit 1/4 tank....

My company van has a 30 gallon tank and one station stops the pumps at $50 so we stop going there.... other stations allow higher limits... so its not the card issuer that sets the limits...

Actually it's the station. Most stations have signs posted that say they allow $xx for debit (usually $50) and $xx for credit (usually $75).

Walk inside, remember which pump you're parked at, guess how much fuel you need, convert to dollars, pay cashier, realize you've over paid, walk back in to get correct change. Why is everyone pre-pay?! J/K

I cuss about this every time I fill up. There are two or three stations I always go to if at all possible because they let me pay when I am done. No prepay.

I understand pre pay but the stations that have it lose my internal business like chips, drinks, ect. It chaps my butt.
