Ford didn't build that, Bart. Some aftermarket company did.

I can tell you're way too young to remember the true joy of the Vega. You always knew when you were within a quarter mile of one due to the smoke signal......

Oh, and just an FYI, Yenko aint factory either... ;)

I stayed up too late, sue me. :D

I am just barely old enough to remember the joy of early 70's junk cars: Vegas, Opels, (same thing, I know), those lumpy Capris.... and the early Honda Civic...

but just barely

I wish the Vega didn't set up such a bad reputation for the first car I owned, or maybe there would still be more of them around ...

Those look like a Chevy Monza to me... (the first car I owned) :greg:

found this:
Based on the General Motors H-platform - the same chassis as the Chevrolet Vega (and Pontiac Astre) - the new Monza design included an all-new version of the Wankel rotary engine. which delivered high performance from an engine much smaller than a conventional piston engine, yet still capable of developing the same amount of power.
